CMS advises investor duo in purchase of Schlosshotel Lebenberg

12/10/2016

Bank Austria has sold the hotel Schloss Lebenberg in Kitzbühel to the two investors Michael Heinritzi and Robert Hübner. The buyers were advised by CMS in Vienna. The purchase contract was signed last Friday and the closing is planned for the turn of the year. It was agreed that the purchase price would remain confidential.

The CMS team, headed up by CMS Partner Gregor Famira, were responsible for providing the investors with complete legal advice throughout the purchase transaction. They were once again able to demonstrate their long and wide-ranging experience in acquisitions and disposals in this sector. CMS advises eight of the ten biggest hotel chains in Europe and participates as a legal advisor in some of the most important hotel and leisure projects.

Gregor Famira, who has provided support in countless corporate and real estate transactions in Vienna and CEE, stated that, "We are very pleased that we were able to provide our concentrated sector expertise to our clients and are also very happy to be actively taking part in the movement which is currently dominating the market."
The CMS team consisted, in addition to Gregor Famira (Partner, Corporate, Real Estate), of the following team members: Sibylle Novak (Partner, Tax), Oliver Werner (Attorney-at-law, Corporate), Martin Trapichler (Attorney-at-law, Real Estate), Andreas Göller (Attorney-at-law, Finance) and Ulrich Weinstich (Associate, Corporate).
