The measures to contain COVID-19 (keywords: ban on meetings and travel restrictions) often make it impossible for shareholders and board members to meet physically. The legislator is now reacting to this and creating temporary relief until 31 December 2020 by means of virtual general meetings and general assemblies (video, Skype, zoom conferences) as well as supervisory board meetings.
