International training

Her interest in international arbitration developed during her studies at the University of Vienna, where she participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration competition. As a student already, she published in the field of dispute resolution and gained relevant professional experience in this field.
Prior to joining CMS, Sonja Otenhajmer worked as a University Assistant and Lecturer at the Department of Civil Procedure at the University of Vienna as well as for renowned international law firms in Vienna and Madrid.
