Previous professional experience / Education

Anna Wieser worked in corporate finance consulting and a renowned Viennese law firm before joining CMS as an associate in August 2013. She was admitted to the Austrian bar in 2014. She studied International Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and Law at the University of Vienna, specialising in commercial law and international financing. Subsequently, she completed her judicial year at the Vienna Higher Regional Court and wrote her doctoral thesis on "Private Law Enforcement in Antitrust Law: A Comparative Analysis of the Legal Basis in the EU, Germany and Austria".
