Anna Wieser is an attorney-at-law specialising in Corporate Law/M&A and Banking & Finance. She advises Austrian and international companies and SMEs on M&A transactions and related financing issues and provides legal advice and support to entrepreneurs, start-ups and companies in the start-up stage.
Before joining CMS as an associate in August 2013, Wieser worked in management consulting in the area of corporate finance as well as in a renowned Vienna law firm. She was admitted to the Austrian Bar in 2014.
Wieser studied international business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration as well as law at the University of Vienna, focusing on commercial law and international finance. She then completed her judicial year at the Vienna Higher Regional Court and wrote her doctoral dissertation on "Private Law Enforcement in Antitrust Law: A Comparative Analysis of the Legal Bases in the EU, Germany and Austria".
