Lucas Dummer has been working as an associate in capital markets at CMS Vienna since January 2024. His practice focuses on banking and securities law, as well as assisting companies with corporate and regulatory matters.
He completed his degree in business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in February 2023, graduating as one of the top students in his class. During a semester abroad at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), he deepened his knowledge of international and business-related legal matters and gained valuable academic experience in a highly practice-oriented environment. In addition, he successfully completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Legal Informatics at the University of Passau in August 2025.
Alongside his studies, Lucas Dummer gained professional experience as a research assistant at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at a law firm specializing in corporate law. Even before joining as an associate, he worked as a legal associate in the capital markets law team at CMS Vienna, initially alongside his studies and later in parallel with his court practice in the district of the Vienna Higher Regional Court.
