Magdalena Gilhofer-Lenglinger

Magdalena Gilhofer-Lenglinger has been an associate in the area of employment law since June 2024. She studied law at the University of Vienna and at Stockholm University. During her studies, she gained professional experience in law firms and at the foreign trade centre of the Austrian Economic Chambers in Johannesburg. After earning her degree, she completed her court internship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Vienna. From 2020 till 2024, she was a university assistant for Prof. Elisabeth Brameshuber at the Department of Labour Law and Law of Social Security at the University of Vienna. She also worked as a research assistant in the Records Office of the Austrian Supreme Court from March till June 2022. Magdalena Gilhofer-Lenglinger completed her doctorate with distinction on the topic ‘Employee retention in the context of the tension between freedom of movement of employees and rewarding loyalty to the company’. In addition to authoring publications on labour and social security law, she is also a frequent speaker in this field, for example as a teacher in the LL.M Employment Law programme at the University of Vienna.
