Thomas Liegl

Thomas Liegl is an associate at CMS Vienna, working primarily in Corporate Law/M&A. He specialises in corporate law, national and international transactions, as well as insolvency and restructuring law.
Thomas Liegl completed his studies in business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business top of his class in 2020. During his studies he completed an Erasmus stay at the Université Paris Dauphine and successfully participated in the Franz-von-Zeiller-Moot-Court in civil law.
During his studies he completed numerous internships and part-time jobs in renowned Austrian law firms. He also gained professional experience in the IT and real estate industry.
Thomas Liegl has been with CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz since 2020 - with an interruption due to his education. He is also currently pursuing his doctoral studies in business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration with a dissertation in corporate restructuring law.
