ALPLA continues to expand: CMS advises on acquisition of packaging manufacturer Wolf Plastics

The internationally active specialist in recycling and packaging solutions ALPLA is adding to its already broad product portfolio. ALPLA was advised by CMS again on its recent acquisition of Wolf Plastics Group.

In the acquisition signed at the end of July 2021, CMS experts from the areas of M&A, antitrust law, regulatory, employment law, real estate law, IP, data protection, and tax law comprised the project team for ALPLA. In addition to its interdisciplinary expertise, the international law firm once again displayed its proficiency with respect to handling cross-border deals. With three independent production facilities in Austria, Hungary and Romania, Wolf Plastics is one of the market leaders in its field in Central and South-eastern Europe. Closing is subject to applicable regulatory approvals.

Wolf Plastics has specialised in producing plastic containers and canisters for the construction, chemical, and food industries for decades.

In addition to lead partner Alexander Rakosi, the core corporate/M&A team consisted of lead associate Marie-Christine Lidl and Florian Mayer.
