Valentin Ölz joined the Banking & Finance team at CMS Vienna in December 2023 as an associate. He gained practical experience at leading commercial law firms and during an international placement in Stockholm, which strengthened his exposure to multi-jurisdictional matters and deal dynamics.
Prior to joining CMS as an Associate, he completed an internship with the firm. He holds a Master's degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where he successfully participated in an M&A moot court focusing on contract drafting and negotiation. His training combines rigorous academic preparation with hands-on transactional work, equipping him with the skills to approach complex mandates across financing and M&A matters with precision and a solution-oriented mindset.
