CMS advises Waracle on its first acquisition abroad
CMS has represented Waracle in its successful acquisition of the Bulgarian IT group Hacksoft, which marks the first acquisition of Waracle abroad.
Waracle has agreed to acquire HackSoft, a software development consultancy based in Sofia, Bulgaria, which is a significant milestone in Waracle’s ambitious growth strategy, expanding its geographic footprint beyond the UK for the first time in its 17-year history.
HackSoft first opened its doors in 2017, and its 55-strong team has established a reputation for engineering excellence, an unrivalled culture, and a holistic approach to quality software development.
The CMS team was led by Helen Gillies (CMS Edinburgh) and Borislava Piperkova (CMS Sofia) and included Kostadin Sirleshtov, Yavor Danailov, Fraser Blair (Corporate), Viktoriya Dimitrova, Stoyana Petrova, Rosen Kostadinov and Pavel Chaveev (EPC); and Andrea Andreev (IP).
