Legal trainee (Referendariat)

Every year, we introduce around 300 trainee lawyers to the practice of law as part of their legal traineeship (Refendariat) or elective placement (Wahlstation).

Right from the start, you will work on specific legal cases under the guidance of mentors. You will be fully involved in the work of our lawyers and often have your first contact with clients. In addition, our trainee lawyer academy offers you an ideal way to supplement your preparations for the second state examination in law (Zweites Staatsexamen).
 

In cooperation with the training provider Kaiserseminare, we provide content on substantive and procedural law as well as an overview of current case law.

The seminars take place online, so you can be flexible and don't have to travel long distances. The programme is supplemented by up-to-date scripts and a comprehensive examination package. You can take the mock exams at home. Your drafts will be corrected individually.

In cooperation with the legal tutoring agency Alpmann Schmidt, we offer all CMS trainees who are taking their second state examination in law (Zweites Staatsexamen) in Bavaria the opportunity to prepare for the specific elements of the examination by taking the course "Die Bayerischen 9".
