CMS advises Collins Foods again on Acquisition of KFC Restaurants

Stuttgart – As part of its expansion strategy, Collins Foods Germany GmbH (Collins Foods), a subsidiary of Australia-based Collins Foods Limited, has acquired eight KFC restaurants in the Munich and Regensburg area from JJ Restaurants GmbH & Co. KG. Through the transaction, Collins Foods is increasing the number of its restaurants in Germany by approximately 50 percent, with the aim of establishing Germany as a strategic growth pillar.

A CMS team led by Dr. Kai Wallisch provided comprehensive advice to Collins Foods on due diligence, contract drafting and negotiations as well as on completion of the transaction. Collins Foods regularly relies on CMS when acquiring new restaurants.
