Yella advises medium-sized companies and their shareholders as well as large international groups on M&A transactions and joint ventures, with a focus on the industrial and automotive sectors. She also advises companies on general corporate law issues.

Yella is a member of the international editorial team of the annual CMS European M&A Study, which analyses nearly 8,000 M&A transactions in Europe that CMS has advised on in the past. Yella is also a lecturer at the Stuttgart Bar Association and the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court.

Yella Schick has been with CMS since 2022.

  • Advice to Daimler Truck AG on the takeover of the HGV sales and service divisions of the Mercedes-Benz and Fuso brands and the after-sales activities of Josef Paul GmbH & Co. KG at the Passau-Sperrwies site
  • Advising Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG on the establishment of a joint venture between Porsche and HIF Global LLC in the field of e-fuels
  • Advising the shareholders of ATTO-TEC GmbH and ATTO Patent GmbH, an innovative medical technology company based in Siegen, Germany, on the sale of their shares to Leica Microsystems Holdings GmbH, a German subsidiary of the conglomerate Danaher Cooperations based in Washington, USA
  • Advising on the sale of the aviation supplier HYDRO Systems KG, based in Biberach, Baden, to Rhinestahl Corporation, based in Cincinnati, USA, to strengthen market competence
  • Advising Zehnder Group on the sale of its Climate Ceiling Solution business in Germany and France to PACE Beteiligung GmbH, a subsidiary of the Hamburg-based investment company Private Assets SE & Co. KGaA
  • Advising Mercedes-Benz AG on the acquisition of 40% of the shares in btv technologies GmbH, a service partner for electronic components in the automotive industry
  • Advising Alfred Kärcher SE & Co.KG on establishing a strategic cooperation with TTS Cleaning S.r.l. to complete its portfolio in the field of manual cleaning equipment
  • Advising Chart Industries, Inc. (cross-border advice) on the acquisition of Howden, a leading global provider of air and gas products and services
