Frankfurt/Main – International investment manager Investcorp has sold two multi-tenant office properties in Eschborn’s KÖ Campus complex to a French investor for around EUR 70 million. The sale of the two properties on Kölner Straße 10 and 12, which have a total area of around 28,000 square metres, is the largest transaction of its type in the Frankfurt investment market so far this year. The entire KÖ Campus complex has now been sold. Built in 1991 and extensively refurbished and modernised in 2018, the ensemble offers some 40,000 square metres of rental space and is centrally located in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region.
A CMS team headed by lead counsel Tina Karakurt and Philipp Schönnenbeck advised Investcorp on all legal aspects of the transaction. The team provided Investcorp with legal advice on the acquisition of the properties back in 2018, together with another one that has likewise been sold in the meantime. The CMS team also acted as legal advisors in the latter transaction.
