Stuttgart – Neckarsulm-based Bechtle AG has acquired British firm ACS Systems UK Ltd., which is headquartered in Northampton. This latest step in Bechtle AG’s acquisition strategy marks a further expansion of the company’s IT System House & Managed Services segment outside Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
An international CMS team headed by John Hammond and Dr Tobias Schneider advised IT service provider Bechtle on all legal aspects of acquiring ACS Systems. The transaction continues the long-standing partnership between international company Bechtle AG and CMS.
Bechtle AG was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Neckarsulm. It operates more than 80 IT system integrator businesses and IT e-commerce companies in 14 countries, making it one of Europe’s leading IT resellers. The firm currently has around 13,700 employees and generated sales of EUR 5.31 billion in 2021. Bechtle is listed on the MDAX and TecDAX.
ACS Systems was established in 1995 and is based in Northampton, UK. It focuses on modern workplace technologies, data centre and cyber-security solutions, and managed services.
