Berlin – Berlin-based start-up Rouvia, which is driving forward digitalisation of the logistics sector, has successfully raised EUR 2.9 million in a seed round of financing. Rouvia intends to use the new capital to expand its multimodal logistics platform. Cavalry Ventures and US investor Dynamo Ventures joined the financing round, while other investors included a number of business angels, such as the founder of Flexport, Philipp Ortwein, and the two founders of Instafreight, Maximilian Schäfer and Markus Doetsch.
A CMS team headed by Dr Jörg Zätzsch advised Rouvia on all legal aspects of the financing and associated documentation. This is a further example of how start-ups and founders from many different kinds of companies rely on the expertise of the Berlin-based CMS venture capital team, whose advice covers the entire lifecycle of start-ups from formation through financing rounds to exit.
Logistics start-up Rouvia operates a multimodal logistics platform that connects all modes of transport, thus making transport planning more efficient and environmentally friendly.
