Berlin – The sole shareholder in online vendor premiumXL has sold the majority of his shares to Verdane, a private equity firm specialised in growth capital. He has also acquired a minority shareholding through reinvestment in the buyer. The companies in Germany and Hungary that make up the group were restructured prior to the sale. Approval has been received from Germany’s Federal Cartel Office and the transaction was completed on 27 July 2021.

PremiumXL is an online vendor specialising in furniture, lighting, decoration, garden and household products, home improvement and hobby and leisure.
