Stuttgart – Hamburg-based private equity firm Seafort Advisors has acquired a majority stake in Leipzig software company Deskcenter AG to provide growth finance, adding to its existing holding. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Tobias Schneider advised Seafort Advisors on all legal aspects of the acquisition. The private equity firm is a longstanding CMS client.
Seafort Advisors is a private equity firm which is headquartered in Hamburg. It invests in medium-sized and technology-oriented companies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other European countries.
Established in 2007 and based in Leipzig, Deskcenter AG is one of Germany’s leading software makers. Its portfolio includes IT management solutions for IT asset management, software management, IT security and vulnerability management, license management, mobile device management and IT service management. The company is represented internationally through a partner network and cooperates with leading system providers and system integrators.
