Berlin – The global seating company RECARO is expanding into the rail seating industry. The Suttgart-based company invested double digit million Euro in Growag, a leading company in train seating, based in Poland. RECARO aims to pave the way for new innovation and broaden the scope of its expertise. The parties involved agreed not to disclose further details of the transaction.
In cooperation with Dr Andreas Kadletz, LL.M. (McGill), general counsel of the RECARO Group, an international CMS-Team headed by Berlin based Partner Dr Igor Stenzel and Warsaw based Partner Mateusz Stepien advised RECARO on all aspects of the acquisition of Growag and its expansion into the rail seating industry.
