Berlin - RT / Raiffeisen Touristik Group GmbH with its registered seat in Altötting in Bavaria sold and transferred, together with other shareholders, all of their shares in AERTiCKET AG to the co-shareholder AER Kooperation AG and to Mr. Rainer Klee, the chairman of the executive board of the company. The acquired shares will be held through a joint holding company.
In return, RT / Raiffeisen Touristik Group GmbH has agreed on acquiring the stake of AERTiCKET AG in Explorer Fernreisen GmbH & Co. KG. The completion of this additional acquisition is subject to clearance by the Federal Cartel Office. The parties have agreed to keep the purchase prices confidential. AERTiCKET AG and RT / Raiffeisen Touristik Group GmbH are intending to continue their close cooperation in the future.

This includes CMS Germany advising RT / Raiffeisen Touristik Group GmbH on the acquisition of OTTO Freizeit und Touristik Group as well as on the takeover of Windrose Finest Travel GmbH.
With 450 employees and 20 international locations is AERTiCKET one of the largest air ticket wholesaler worldwide. The company has been a partner of travel agencies, tour operators and internet platforms for over 20 years. The AERTiCKET Group issues about 3.5 million tickets per year, there are 5.5 million air fares to be found in the database of the consolidator.
With the tour operator Explorer Fernreisen GmbH & Co. KG RT / Raiffeisen Touristik Group completes its portfolio with yet another premium tour operator.
