CMS advises Stumpf Group on acquisition of the property at Kurfürstendamm 231 in Berlin

Berlin – Stumpf KD231 GmbH, a company in the Austrian Stumpf Group, has acquired the property at Kurfürstendamm 231 in Berlin from the insolvency administrator for the assets of Kurfürstendamm 231 Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG, a company in the former Signa Group. The site is currently mainly used as a department store. The Stumpf Group will decide in the coming months together with the city, district and specialist planners on how the site will be used in future. The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.

A CMS team headed by partner Dr Matthias Kuß and counsel Dr Julius Städele provided the Stumpf Group with comprehensive legal advice on the transaction.
