CMS advises Swedish WTR Group AB on strategic partnership in Germany

Hamburg – The Swedish WTR Group AB (WTR Group) has entered into a strategic partnership with L & M Lotzer & Mühlenbruch GmbH (L&M Pumps). The partnership represents an important step in further strengthening WTR Group's growing platform in Germany while supporting the group's long-term strategy in Northern Europe at the same time.

A CMS team led by Dr Jacob Siebert advised WTR Group on all legal aspects of implementing the partnership. WTR Group is a long-standing client of CMS and relies on the firm's expertise on a regular basis.

The Swedish WTR Group is an internationally operating provider of solutions in the water, wastewater and process industries and is pursuing an active growth strategy in Europe. Through the partnership with L&M Pumps, WTR Group is further expanding its presence in the German market and strategically strengthening its platform for industrial applications.

L&M Pumps is based in Germany and specialises in the development, manufacture and sale of pump solutions and associated components for industrial applications. Its customers include leading companies from the paper, biogas and chemical industries as well as from the food production and water technology sectors.
