Frankfurt/Main – Listed US company Cascade Microtech, Inc. of Beaverton, Oregon, has acquired Munich-based ATT Advanced Temperature Test Systems GmbH. As a world-leading manufacturer of measurement and test equipment for semiconductors, Cascade Microtech is expanding its portfolio by adding a producer of advanced thermal test systems. The purchase price for the transaction includes approximately EUR 8.4 million in cash, around 1.6 million shares of Cascade Microtech common stock and deferred payments of roughly EUR 0.8 million.
A CMS Hasche Sigle team led by Dr Joachim Dietrich and Dr Tobias Kilian advised Cascade Microtech on all legal aspects of the transaction.
Cascade Microtech posted sales of around USD 113 million in the 2012 financial year and has more than 400 employees. The transaction provides it with strategic/technical advantages, an important expansion of its product portfolio and enhanced market access.
