The insolvency administrator of Ihr Platz GmbH & Co + KG, Werner Schneider, and Dirk Rossmann GmbH have agreed the acquisition of 104 Ihr Platz stores, including staff and the entire inventory, by Rossmann. The deal will secure around 800 jobs for the long term. The acquisition will take place following approval from the Federal Cartel Office and the consent of individual landlords.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by lead partner Dr Harald Kahlenberg advised Dirk Rossmann GmbH on the transaction and is handling the merger control proceedings before the Federal Cartel Office.
