CMS Hasche Sigle advises Wellington Partners on venture capital financing of Middle Peak Medical

Munich – Medical technology firm Middle Peak Medical has raised EUR 7 million in a seed round and Series A financing. The round of financing was led jointly by Life Science Fonds Wellington Partners, Seventure Partners and High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF). The proceeds will provide capital for further development of Middle Peak's patented technology for treating mitral valve disease. Mitral insufficiency (MI) is the most common form of heart disease in the US and Europe.

A team led by lead partner and venture capital expert Stefan-Ulrich Müller advised Wellington Partners on all legal aspects of the financing.
