Berlin – Commercial law firm CMS Germany was recognised yesterday evening with the JUVE Award 2018 as “Law Firm of the Year for Healthcare”. Each year, industry magazine JUVE selects law firms that have stood out in the past twelve months through the special quality of their work, their dynamic growth or outstanding management.

The reasons cited in the new JUVE Handbook for the award include the fact that the firm’s own young lawyers are driving the recent growth in the healthcare segment, in addition to experienced partners. The market has been favourably impressed, with the law firm now reaping the rewards of its courageous strategy, the citation continued. This success is particularly apparent in the medical centre market, where CMS is now supporting several highly active investors. Advising on licence agreements is another important pillar, JUVE added. The citation went on to say: “In product liability cases, CMS benefits in proceedings at national level by having numerous offices around the country.” Clients appreciate the comprehensive range of services, with the healthcare lawyers regularly working alongside competition specialists or IT lawyers.
