With a focus on private insurance law, Alexander Hoffmann advises German and international insurance companies and insurance brokers. He has special expertise in D&O insurance, life insurance and cyber insurance and also represents his clients before state courts and arbitration tribunals.

After two years with the litigation and insurance practice of a commercial law firm, Alexander joined CMS in 2018. He was appointed Partner in 2026.
