Anastasia Schmeckel advises companies in the energy industry with a focus on project development in the field of renewable energy in Germany and abroad. In particular, she assists in drafting and negotiating general contractor and supply agreements, construction and installation contracts, as well as service and maintenance agreements.

Anastasia Schmeckel joined CMS in 2021. Prior to that, she was an associate at an international law firm in Hamburg. In 2026, she was appointed Counsel of the firm.

Education

  • 2018 - 2020: Trainee lawyer at Berlin Higher Regional Court including placements at an international law firm in Berlin, Deutsches Theater in Berlin and a German-South African law firm in Cape Town
  • 2011 - 2017: Law studies at Bucerius Law School including studies at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (2013) and participation in a Summer School in Riga, Vilnius and Tartu (2014)
