Christian Zielonka mainly advises groups and medium-sized companies on national and international M&A-transactions, joint ventures and restructurings. Furthermore, Christian Zielonka advises clients in connection with post-M&A disputes and, together with the Dispute Resolution team, accompanies post-M&A arbitration proceedings as party representative.

Christian Zielonka joined CMS in 2012 and was promoted to principal counsel in 2023. He has gained international experience in France as well as the UK, in particular during his additional studies in International and European Law at Paul Cézanne University in Aix-en-Provence obtaining the degree Maîtrise en droit and while conducting research for his PhD in the field of International Investment Law as a Visiting Fellow of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at the University of Cambridge, UK.
