Daniel Kaiser advises and defends companies and individuals in all areas of white-collar crime and criminal tax law. As a former public prosecutor in a white-collar crime department in Stuttgart, he is widely experienced in representing his clients before investigating authorities and courts in criminal and regulatory offence proceedings. He has significant expertise in conducting internal investigations, in representing and defending companies against criminal charges as well as in providing preventive compliance advice. He has extensive litigation experience with more than 100 days of main hearings before regional commercial crime courts.
Daniel joined CMS in 2016 and was made partner in 2020. Prior to that, he was a public prosecutor in a public prosecutor’s office specialising in white-collar crime and head of the criminal law department of a renowned boutique tax firm in Munich.
