Stuttgart – The SYNLAB Group has acquired the WolfartKlinik hospital in Gräfelfing near Munich from the Wolfart family. The transaction was agreed in February 2023 and has now been successfully completed, following receipt of the approvals required under merger control rules and hospital regulations. The WolfartKlinik has 100+ beds and forms part of the state-level hospitals plan. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
A CMS team headed by Dr Christoph Lächler advised SYNLAB on all legal aspects of the complex acquisition process and on the restructuring carried out between signing and closing.
