Jan-Erik Ehlers advises on IT contract law and legal issues relating to the use of artificial intelligence.
He supports regulated companies in complex IT projects, with a particular focus on contract drafting and negotiation as well as the contractual implementation of regulatory requirements. He represents clients in the enforcement of claims arising from IT projects, both in and out of court. In addition, he advises on data protection law and on the implementation and use of legal tech solutions for the efficient handling of complex legal matters.
Jan-Erik Ehlers has been a lawyer at CMS since 2025. Prior to joining CMS, he worked as a legal professional at an international commercial law firm with a focus on M&A and legal tech.
