Karima Sameri advises national and international companies as well as public authorities on all aspects of public commercial law, with a focus on administrative and constitutional law, procurement law, and public planning and building law.

Karima joined CMS in 2016. In 2025 she became Counsel of the law firm.

Education

  • 2016: Second state examination in law
  • 2013 - 2016: Trainee lawyer at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg including placements at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Berlin and in the legal department of an international company in Tokyo
  • From 2010: Research assistant at the University of Hamburg (Chair for Public Law and European Law), lecturer at the China-EU School of Law in Beijing and PhD thesis on European constitutional law
  • 2009: First state examination in law
  • Law studies in Hamburg and Paris
