Manuel Nann is a corporate and insolvency lawyer specialising in advising companies in financial distress on restructuring and reorganisation options. He focusses on the preparation and implementation of restructuring concepts, insolvency (plan) proceedings, protective shield proceedings, self-administration proceedings and pre-insolvency restructuring (especially under the German German Act on the Stabilisation and Restructuring Framework for Businesses "StaRUG"). Manuel also advises international sellers and buyers on distressed M&A transactions and carve-outs. He supports shareholders and managing directors in financing and liability issues and helps creditors of (imminent) insolvent companies to enforce their rights and to defend against claw-back claims.
His clients include German and international companies as well as insolvency administrators.
Manuel joined CMS in 2021 after his studies of economics and law at the University of Konstanz.
