Manuel Nann advises on company and insolvency law, specialising in the restructuring and reorganisation of companies in crisis situations. His practice in particular encompasses the design and implementation of reorganisation measures, insolvency (plan) proceedings, protective shield and self-administration proceedings as well as out-of-court restructurings, including proceedings under the StaRUG.
Another key area of his practice is advising national and international companies on distressed M&A transactions and carve-outs. In addition he advises shareholders and directors on financing and liability issues. He represents creditors of companies in crisis or insolvency in enforcing their claims and in defending against insolvency avoidance actions. His clients include German and international companies as well as insolvency practitioners.
Manuel Nann joined CMS in 2021 after completing his studies in economics and law. In 2026 he was appointed Counsel.
