With more than ten years of wide-ranging experience, Markus Herz specialises in domestic and cross-border private equity and M&A transactions, advising German and international companies, institutional investors, family offices and entrepreneurs both as buyers and sellers. His practice covers all contractual and corporate law issues, also supporting management teams or C-level managers in buy-out structures or in the development and structuring of employee participation programmes.
Markus has special software, digital infrastructure, industrial services, healthcare and defence sector expertise.
Markus previously worked for many years in international commercial law firms before joining CMS in 2024.
