Frankfurt/Main – Funds managed by PINOVA Capital GmbH and the co-shareholders of IREMA Holding GmbH have sold their shares in the IREMA Group to Rensa Filtration, Inc., a US-based portfolio company of Audax Private Equity. The transaction marks an important milestone in the international filtration sector as it brings together complementary technology platforms and strengthens Rensa’s European market presence.
A CMS team led by partners Hendrik Hirsch and Markus Herz, together with counsel Maxine Notstain, advised the sellers on all legal aspects of the transaction. CMS already advised PINOVA Capital on its acquisition of the IREMA Group in 2022 and has now once again contributed its expertise in private equity and cross-border transactions.
Founded nearly 50 years ago near Postbauer-Heng, Germany, IREMA-Filter GmbH is recognised as a pioneer in the development of advanced filtration media and pleating technologies.
