Martin Krings advises leading digital platform providers, mainly in the e-commerce and online marketing sector, on all relevant legal aspects, including platform regulation. His extensive e-commerce know-how covers anything from online advertising to e-payments. He also assists his clients with data protection and general IT law issues.

Martin is a certified lawyer for IT law and a member of the IT Law Committee of the Cologne Bar Association.

He started his career as legal counsel with Deutsche Telekom in Bonn (B2B, M2M, IoT) before joining CBH Rechtsanwälte in Cologne where his practice focused on unfair competition, new media and data protection. He joined CMS in 2019 and became Counsel in 2023.
