Martin Kuhn specialises in stock corporation law and group law and advises on cross-border transactions and reorganisations. He has advised on large IPOs in Germany and regularly works for companies on capital increases and restructurings. Martin has published papers on different aspects of corporate law and is one of the authors of the Handbuch der Europäischen Aktiengesellschaft (a guide to the European Company – Societas Europaea SE). His pragmatic and solution-driven advice is often praised in leading industry publications.
Martin was admitted as a lawyer in 1996 and became a CMS partner in 2001. International stints with Rogers & Wells in New York as well as CMS Cameron McKenna and Nomura Securities in London complement his expertise. Alongside his legal practice, he also sits on the advisory board of listed and unlisted companies.
