Michael Biendl’s practice concentrates on German and European regulatory law as well as product compliance, primarily advising German and international clients on German and European telecommunications regulation matters and product compliance projects (e.g. launch of new technology products). He also regularly represents his clients’ interests before court and in dealings with authorities.

Michael joined CMS in 2017 and has been a counsel since 2022. Prior to that, he was the managing partner of an IT start-up and has years of experience providing expert opinions and publishing on telecommunications and data protection law matters. Combined with his academic education in law, business and IT, this background provides him with an excellent legal, technical and economic understanding of his clients’ requirements.
