Richard Mitterhuber advises German and international companies on reorganization projects and transactions. His clients include large and medium-sized companies in Germany and abroad, international groups as well as strategic investors whom he advises on restructurings and mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate matters (incl. distressed M&A, restructurings, cross-border mergers and reorganisations, liability in corporate groups as well as planning and implementing of corporate strategies). Richard’s expertise and experience in leading international teams of consultants is highly recommended in law firm guides; he has a special industry and technology sector expertise.
Richard joined CMS in 2001 and was made partner in 2009. In 2006 he was seconded to the international commercial law firm DrinkerBiddle in Chicago and in 2001 to Hunt & Hunt, Law firm in Sydney. Before starting his career as a lawyer, he was a research assistant at the University of Regensburg.
