Ulrich Becker comprehensively advises his clients in private and commercial law, especially in the operationally relevant areas of purchase/procurement and sales activities, for example drafting and negotiating contracts. His particular focus lies on the topics of warranty, product liability and product safety. Here he advises, for instance, in the assertion and defense of warranty and product liability claims, in product safety compliance matters, including questions of CE labelling, as well as in the assistance in product recalls. Ulrich Becker represents his clients before state courts and arbitral tribunals.

Ulrich Becker's clients include European and US medium-sized companies in the fields of machinery and plant construction, high-tech industry, supply industry and trade (at all distribution levels).

Ulrich Becker started his career as a lawyer with Shearman & Sterling LLP in Frankfurt in 2007. In 2008, he joined CMS and has been a Partner in Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution since 2017. In 2014, Ulrich Becker worked as an in-house lawyer (secondment) for a US-client in Silicon Valley, California for half a year. He is a regular speaker on sales and liability law topics as well as on product liability and product safety at conferences and (in-house) seminars.
