CMS has advised German company Encavis AG on its entry into the Spanish renewable energy market through the acquisition of one of the country’s largest photovoltaic facilities, with a capacity of 300 MW and estimated investment of EUR 225 million.
Signed in October 2018, the deal involves the acquisition of an 80% stake in Genia Extremadura Solar, S.L., the owner of the facility to be built in Extremadura.
Encavis AG holds one of Europe’s biggest photovoltaic portfolios.
