CMS Francis Lefebvre advises Franklin Templeton on its off-plan purchase of property from Nexity
CMS Francis Lefebvre has advised Franklin Templeton, accompanied by Colliers, on the acquisition of two properties in Lyon (69002). The properties, sold off-plan by Nexity, are designed for higher education use.
Between them, the two buildings offer approximately 8,000 m², plus parking. Both have already been let in their entirety to Galileo Global Education France, under off-plan commercial leases.
CMS Francis Lefebvre assisted Franklin Templeton throughout the process, from transaction structuring and rental due diligence through to financing and, of course, the negotiation and execution of the requisite contractual documentation.
The firm’s team comprised: Benjamin Bill (partner), Hugo Leynier and Mateo Torrecilla on real estate and construction law aspects; Amélie Retureau (partner) and Mary Lédée (counsel) on tax aspects; François Poirier (counsel) on real estate finance; Florentin Sanson (partner) and Océane Chambrion on intellectual property aspects.
