First US private placement under Belgian law for Interparking: CMS advises Pricoa Private Capital on the deal
Interparking, a leading European car park operator, has successfully issued its first US private placement governed by Belgian law, which was subscribed by Pricoa Private Capital, the private debt investment affiliate of PGIM, Inc.
This €50 million US private placement was issued with a 10-year bullet maturity pursuant to a private shelf facility governed by Belgian law, and includes the option for Interparking to potentially draw down up to a further US$170 million (or its equivalent in euros) of US private placement debt.
The proceeds from the transaction will be used for general corporate purposes of the Interparking group.
For this transaction, the teams of CMS (France and Belgium), coordinated by Marc-Etienne Sébire, Partner and Global Co-Head of the CMS Banking & Finance Group, comprised:
- CMS France: Marc-Etienne Sébire, partner, and Myriam Issad and Pierre Maunand, associates; and
- CMS Belgique: Benoît Vandervelde, partner, and Anaïs Casteur, associate, for Capital Markets matters, and Arnout Vaninbroukx, counsel, for Tax matters.
Interparking was advised by Eubelius.
