Jean-Hugues de la Berge joined CMS Francis Lefebvre in 2011 and became a partner in 2022.

He practices in tax law and advises family groups on direct taxation issues (company tax, tax consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring) and represents them in litigation proceedings. He has considerable experience in property law and taxation of financial products.

Jean-Hugues de la Berge has built a significant practice advising entrepreneurs and shareholders on asset taxation, with a focus on business transfers (under the “Pacte Dutreil” – a favourable tax regime for the transfer of family businesses).
