International technology, media and telecoms law firm Olswang and key client BP have been shortlisted for the European Outsourcing Association (EOA) Awards, in the 'Innovation in Pan-European Outsourcing' category.
BP and Olswang were recognized for their work in implementing BP's new and innovative IT operating model. Central to the operating model is a focus on business outcomes, the speedy adoption of next generation technology, enhanced cyber security standards, and simpler and standard processes, all contributing to a safer, stronger and better BP. To achieve this, BP and Olswang devised a next generation outsourcing structure, a ‘fit for purpose’ risk-based contract framework and an integrated governance model across BP’s strategic IT and BPO vendors.
Now in its seventh year, the EOA Awards recognise and celebrate the significant achievements of companies that have demonstrated innovation, excellence and best-practice in pan-European outsourcing. The awards take place on 6 October in Sofia, Bulgaria.
