CMS Hungary has advised The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited and BNP Paribas, S.A. on the financing and development of a USD 1.492 billion cathode active materials plant with an annual capacity of approximately 108,000 tonnes in Debrecen, Hungary by ECOPRO BM.
ECOPRO BM is a leading Korean company that produces and develops high-quality cathode materials for electric vehicles, power tools, and energy storage systems. The USD 860 million financing is the first time a Korean cathode materials company has received an Export Credit Agency financing worth trillions of South Korean won for overseas investment.
