Fireside chat with two Top Industry Veterans - Lucy Lombardi and Nicola Palmer

The GTWN (Global Telecom Women’s Network) and CMS invite you to join a webinar exploring the current status of digital developments and the impact of upcoming regulations on the pace of change. With the EU leading the way in outlining the frameworks within which development should take place, we will discuss how this will be interpreted globally, and ultimately shape the digital generation.

We are honoured to be joined by Lucy Lombardi, who currently heads the Technical Partnership Governance, Safety and Certification Department in Telecom Italia where, among other responsibilities, she is involved in the ongoing delayering of the fixed access network within Telecom Italia. Lucy has been nominated by Mobile Communication International and Telecoms among the most influential women in TLC and by Digitalic among the 15 most influential italian women in digital.

We also have the privilege of being joined by Nicola Palmer, a distinguished technology executive with over 30 years of experience in various leadership positions at Verizon. Most recently, Nicki was Verizon’s Chief Technology Ambassador where she worked with business leaders, industry partners and consortiums, non-profits and universities to ensure Verizon remains at the forefront of technology and innovation. She also served as Verizon’s Chief Product Development Officer, overseeing the exploration of new technologies and creation of products and platforms that solve problems for individuals, enterprises, and society.

The discussion will be chaired by María González Gordon, Co-Managing Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property & Digital Business practice at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo (CMS Spain). She specialises in advising domestic and international companies on intellectual and industrial property, media, technology and digital businesses, with a particular focus in litigation and negotiation in those fields. María assists a wide range of companies with digital transformation across numerous sectors (energy, pharma, real estate, media, logistics and retail). Additionally, she has been recognised in the field of IP & tech by some of the leading and most prestigious legal directories such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 as well as those specific rankings for the tech, media and IP sector.

This will be the next edition in a series of monthly webinars focusing on The Digital Generation ahead of the Mobile Century publication due for release in February 2024.

We look forward to you joining us and having the opportunity to put your questions to our experts.
