Stuttgart, 22.10.2024 – Bechtle AG has acquired DriveWorks Ltd. and Qolcom Ltd., both of which are headquartered in the UK. DriveWorks is a leading software developer of design automation and Configure Price Quote solutions. Based in Thelwall near Manchester, the company has almost 60 employees and generated revenues of EUR 6.5 million in the most recent fiscal year. Qolcom is an IT specialist located in Newbury. It currently employs 44 people and posted sales of EUR 30 million in the last financial year. The two acquisitions see Bechtle continuing its commitment to expand its international market position.
Following the acquisition of IT services provider s.i.g. and Kubernetes expert KubeOps, these DriveWorks and Qolcom transactions mean that Bechtle has made four acquisitions within two months.
CMS also advised Bechtle on all legal aspects of these deals, with Dr Tobias Schneider acting as lead partner. Bechtle was represented by law firm Burness Paull on the UK side.
