Elena Aguilar is a Partner in the Corporate / M&A department at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo. She currently co-heads the global CMS Infrastructure & Projects Group and the global Digital Infrastructures focus Group. She boasts nearly 20 years’ experience and is specialised in corporate law, with a particular focus on M&A, advising, mainly, large corporates and utilities, private equities and infrastructure funds.
Moreover, she has a proven track record in restructuring, refinancing and securities market transactions and acts as secretary to numerous Spanish boards of directors. Elena's international experience included working at a prestigious Spanish firm's Buenos Aires office advising foreign investors on their interests in Latin America. Elena is a regular lecturer at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.
